My favorite quote from the Beetle (my QCQ# 9) talks about what the beetle looks like as it is crawling up one of the characters so I wondered what is the biggest beetle we have ever found and is it from Egypt?

First, off I thought it was kind of cool that the family name for all beetles is Coleoptera like Cleopatra the queen of Egypt from 51 to 30 BC, and its last active ruler.

So the longest beetles are a tie between the Titan Beetel and the Hurculaien beetle. If we don’t include pincer size and just go by body size the Titan Beetle takes the cake easy. I would really recommend looking at the sight linked it gives such cool info on these amazing bugs. Titan beetles are only found in the Amazon so what’s the biggest beetle in Egypt?

In 2019 an archeological team found a burial ground full of mummified animals, including this scarab beetle, it’s huge! but I couldn’t find exactly how huge. Nowadays scarab beetles are about 0.08 inches (compared to the titan beetles at 6.8 inches). IMO scarab beetles are prettier.
