QCQ #12

Q: She said, “Promise me that you will not tell me anything of the plans formed for the campaign against the Count. Not by word, or inference, or implication, not at any time whilst this remains to me!” And she solemnly pointed to the scar. I saw that she was in earnest, and said solemnly, “I promise!” and as I said it I felt that from that instant a door had been shut between us.

C: Mina begs Jonathan to not let her in on the plan because while she is one of the smartest characters, she now knows that Dracula can see through her eyes and hear through her ears and she doesn’t want him to know that the boyfriend squad and Dr. Van Helsing are going after him. Mina wants to help she knows she can help but she also knows that she is a risk and could compromise the mission or attack the group if dracula tries to control her again

Q: Do you think if the boyfriend squad let Mina sit in and listen to how Dracula feeds and what happens when someone gets bit/ becomes a vampire she would have been able to avoid getting attacked or did they did good saving her poor frail woman heart even though she basically solved half of this book when sitting down with Dr. Van Helsing
